So I created this blog over a year ago, and then couldn't decide whether or not it was the right time to begin blogging again. Obviously, since I couldn't decide, it wasn't... I think it may be now.
I will begin with this basic introduction:
I am 28 years old. I am a Chicano/White Queer Man. I use the term Queer because Gay is too confining, I am more than a man who falls in love with or has sex with other men. I am a Drag Queen. I am an avid progressive, who in a past life recently made this transition) was heavily involved in and pursued a career in, Electoral and Legislative politics. I used to write the Political Column for the New Mexico Voice, a now defunct GLBT newspaper in ABQ.
I have lived in ABQ, NM for almost ten years. I have a boyfriend, two fabulous roommates, and hundreds of amazing friends across the country....
This blog will mostly be a tool for me to practice and hone my writing, as I am once again trying to continue to write my novel... I will write about Drag stuff (I am the reigning Miss New Mexico Pride) and politics, GLBT issues, and friendships and relationships... (nothing using names)
